It is a golden rule here at Belmont that all shiurim welcome everyone regardless of previous qualification. There is no minimum level of learning required and they are generally interactive and enjoyable as well as worthwhile.
The Rabbi's Talmud Shiur takes place every Thursday evening following Maariv. Massechet Shabbat is being studied and the shiurim are enhanced with a tot of whisky.
Through the summer months this year the Shabbat afternoon shiur will usually be focussing on themes from Pirkei Avot.
The Ladies' Tuesday morning shiurim will take place this autumn on the following Tuesday mornings, 9.30-11.00 in the shul.
20th October - The Curious Incident Of The Angels In The Daytime / Rabbi Steven Gaffin
3rd November - Dina D'Malchuta -- The Law of The Land / Rabbi Daniel Roselaar
17th November - The Enigma Of Parshat Toldot / Karine Morris
1st December - Is Chanukah a Pagan Festival / Amanda Bradley
